All About You
Full-time Assistant Professor in Analytics, Non-Tenure-Track.
Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University is one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious Catholic universities. For more than 200 years, it has been providing students with a rigorous, transformative education of the whole person in the Jesuit tradition. The University, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service.
Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies offers globally accessible certificates and degrees at the bachelor's and master's levels. Our faculty and staff promote a student-centered, innovative, and industry-aligned educational experience in the Jesuit tradition of excellence.
To meet the strategic growth in global graduate education at the University, the School for Professional Studies seeks multiple, full-time faculty in Analytics or a closely related discipline. The Master of Science in Analytics at Saint Louis University covers information retrieval, visualization, feedback and dissemination, simulation and modeling, advanced analytics, and project management. All positions are open-rank, non-tenure-track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract from August to May (renewed annually).
Faculty will join a community where teaching excellence is present and well-supported. The Saint Louis University Reinert Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning staff provide a wealth of resources for faculty development through in-person workshops, online offerings, and individual consultation. Faculty also receive professional development funds to support their ongoing development and professional travel-related costs.
As these are teaching-focused roles, candidates will teach eight graduate courses across four, eight-week terms (two terms in fall and two terms in spring). While most courses are taught on-campus, some courses may be taught asynchronously online. Additional expectations include service to the program, the School for Professional Studies, or the University as assigned by the Program Director in consultation with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
