Our client is an established full-service marketing agency with large clients in the automotive industry.
Will be responsible for interfacing with customers and developing consumer-facing websites and landing pages,
using ROR (Ruby on Rails), JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, PostgreSQL, GIT, etc.
These websites will help their clients collect customer information from events.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby on Rails code
• Implement front-end technologies to create high-performing, responsive and interactive web applications (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
Qualifications:
• 5+ years full-stack web development
• Prior experience developing consumer-facing business websites
• 5+ years of experience developing Ruby on Rails web applications
• 5+ years of front-end web development utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap
• Prior experience writing and supporting RESTful APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Plusses:
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS
• Experience with native mobile application development (iOS/ Android).
