Rent Butter is a SaaS resident screening and verification platform with an emphasis on mobile-first technology, providing in-depth consumer behavioral analytics, background data, and automated verification tools for the rental housing markets supporting both conventional and affordable properties.

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Ruby Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby programming and be experienced in both front-end and back-end development. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality applications and solutions, working collaboratively with our team to innovate and improve our services.

Responsibilities: ● Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby and other relevant technologies. ● Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic. ● Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. ● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. ● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. ● Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best practices.

Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● Strong experience with Ruby and a good understanding of its ecosystems. ● Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS). ● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. ● Experience with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. ● Knowledge of server-side templating languages. ● Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
