Tri-State Bobcat, a proven industry leader, is looking for an experienced Full Line Mechanic to service and repair everything within our line of compact, forestry and grounds equipment. Ranging from electric and 2-stroke lawn care equipment up through diesel construction equipment. Strong mechanical and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision. Get paid $25.00 - $34.00 per hour for your experience and skills! M-F 7:30-5:00. Located in our Burnsville, MN store.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Full Line Mechanic:
- Diagnose and repair small and diesel engine equipment as needed
- Perform required preventive maintenance on a Full Line of products
- Communicate job progress to service manager
- Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
- Inspect and test equipment when work is completed
- Check work orders for complete and accurate descriptions of work performed and proper parts and labor is accounted for
- Work safely and independently with little supervision
- Maintain company safety standards
- Willing to participate in all training programs, including limited out of state training and keep current on new equipment update
Position requirements for Full Line Mechanic:
- Previous experience as a Full Line Mechanic in small and diesel engine repair and service
- Complete set of tools that you can build on with our Tool Allowance Program
- Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
- Strong computer and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills and commitment to completing jobs as scheduled
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
