Summary/Objective
As an Operations Manager, you'll deliver inspiring, inclusive leadership for the teams you supervise. But at the same time, you don't shy away from getting involved whenever necessary. You'll be directly responsible for supervising a team and their direct reports: meanwhile, you will report to the Site Lead of your Fulfillment Center. The quality of your leadership is key to achievement in this role: you'll motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work, while planning schedules and activities that balance their needs with that of the business. Additional duties may be assigned.
Essential Functions
- Safety - always ensure safe and appropriate use of all machinery and chemicals.
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Ability to manage projects while ensuring quality standards are being met
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coach others
- Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production team members
- Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
- Accurately report operating data, including downtime causes
- Address issues quickly and effectively when problems arise.
- Direct accurate set-up and changeover of machines
- Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations
- Regular attendance is critical to the operation of our business.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all safety policies. Consistently working in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers and manufacturing systems
- Planning and organizing productions schedules
- Assessing projects and setting productions goals
- Checking on inventory and communicating needs to appropriate department
- Ensure that the quality of all projects is within the standards set forth by Grunt Style
- Document any discrepancies, quality issues and down time causes
- Ensure that maintenance of equipment is performed during each shift
- Ensure the cleanliness standards of equipment and workstations are met
- Additional duties may be assigned

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in logistics or business administration preferred.
Experience managing large retail fulfillment center.

Work Environment
Factory/Warehouse environment with production equipment. Moving mechanical parts/machines, ink, cleaning solution and heat. The Production Area Manager is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the warehouse. Warm weather can increase temperatures in the workplace. Noise levels are high due to machinery, dryers, music, and talking over equipment noise.

- Prolonged periods of working on screen printing equipment

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
