Seeking a front desk receptionist for an exceptionally busy medical practice. Must be friendly, professional, organized, reliable, efficient, and a multitasker with excellent communication skills. Must be a team player who is willing to work a flexible schedule, and to travel to multiple locations. Two years of medical receptionist experience is required.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Schedule and register patients utilizing an EMR system.
· Obtain referrals, patient identification, insurance information, copays and balances.
· Verify insurance eligibility.
· Organize and upload patient information to charts.
· Respond to patient, doctor, and outside inquiries and requests for information.
· Charge entry.
Requirements:
· Working knowledge of computer technology, and the ability to type.
· Familiarity with electronic medical systems.
· Familiarity with insurance eligibility portals.
· Reliable and punctual.
· Detail Oriented.
· Flexible and able to travel to multiple locations.
· Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
