Front Office Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our headquarters office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service . The ideal candidate will have experience in ship repair industry and possess excellent communication skills.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls screen and forward incoming phone calls, schedule conference room meetings, and assist with any office inquiries.
- Manage front desk tasks such as filing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with the office team to ensure smooth operations

-Manage the CEO's calendar

-Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

-Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

-Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

-Order Front Office supplies and keep inventory of stock

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of shipyard industry is a plus
- Proficient in using office software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

-Bilingual is a plus not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
