Joy Performing Arts is looking for a front desk associate to begin work in June 2024.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Availability to work Monday-Thursday from 4:00pm-9:30pm, and some Saturdays. Evenings during the week vary based on the current class schedule.
- Good communication skills, both in written and verbal communication.
- Comfort using technology as most work is done through dance studio software. Training will be provided upon hiring.
- Knowledge of the dance industry
- Good at taking initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills
- All employees must pass a background check and agree to our child protection policy upon hiring.
You will be performing the following tasks:
- Answering phones
- Greeting clients
- Scheduling trial classes
- Reccomending class placements
- Client follow-up calls & emails
- Email and phone communication with current and prospective clients
- Posting billing and tuition invoices
- Tidying up as needed during classes
- Helping with organization and planning for class and the year end recital
