Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Manager. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Duties:
- Manage and supervise front desk staff, including training and scheduling
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Assist with reservations, group bookings, and special events as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in phone systems and computer software applications
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest services
- Familiarity with night audit processes is desirable
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
