Front Office Coordinator-Floater

Vargo Physical Therapy has an opening for a full-time, Front Office Coordinator floater. The position is for 40 hours per week at multiple clinics in the San Fernando Valley, Westlake and Moorpark and works alongside other Front Office Coordinators. When travel is not required, the home office will be our Westlake Village clinic. The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented individual to perform the following duties in a friendly and efficient manner. The candidate can expect to multi-task continuously and possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Schedules patient appointments

* Collects Co-Payments

* Verifies patients insurance

* Obtains authorization from insurance provider

* Provides excellent Customer Service

* Greets patients in a friendly and effective manner

* Answers multi-line telephone system

* Maintains accurate files of patient records using EMR system

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years medical Front Office experience preferably in a physical therapy environment and fully understand insurance verification and medical terminology. Raintree EMR experience highly preferred. AA or bachelors degree strongly recommended. Spanish speaking is a plus.
