We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Associate to join our team at Tysons Corner suites. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle reservations, including new bookings, modifications, and cancellations, while maintaining accurate records.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Assign rooms to guests based on preferences and availability, ensuring special requests are accommodated whenever possible.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card transactions, and billing inquiries.
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
- Collaborate closely with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor security cameras and follow established procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating guest records, managing databases, and completing paperwork as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer software and hotel management systems.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
