Job Description:
We are looking for a Clerk/Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis, and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Clerk/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Clerk/Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including intake of phone calls and distributing correspondence. There is a sales aspect to the role, as potential customers will call inquiring about our services. To be successful as a Clerk/Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and execute all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Promote Roofing services to potential customers.
Maintain, organize, and file invoices, payment receipts, work orders, etc.
Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
Maintain security and telecommunications system.
Inform visitors/callers by answering or referring inquiries.
Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
Operate telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work Hours & Benefits:
Your presence is required in person from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The position is full time, and salaried at $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience. Benefits package will be explained in full during the interview.
Receptionist Qualifications / Skills:
Proven track-record as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or other professional office role.
Experience in construction or any related industry required.
Experience in any of the following industries is a plus: doctor’s office/ medical field, real estate, financial services.
