Front Desk/Dental Hygienist assistant : Full Job Description
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Greets patients on the phone and in person; multi-line phone system and a patient communication software called Practice Works are used in our office.
- Schedule appointments; as well as confirm and reschedule appointments.
- Confirm patient dental insurances and ensure they are insurances that we take in our office
- Register new patients & assist patients in completing all necessary forms and documentation; also verify and update patients information as needed.
- Enter all relevant patient information into our data system.
- Communicate with referring dental offices/providers.
- Help clean/set up Hygiene rooms after patient to assist with good patient flow for the hygienist.

Schedule:
- up to 8 hour shift sometimes a little longer
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
COVID-19 considerations:
- All patients are welcome but not required to wear a mask. Common areas sanitized frequently throughout the day.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Dental office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (Required)
Work Location: One location

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
