Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the dining area, supervising staff, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Front of House staff, including hosts/hostesses, servers, and bartenders
- Ensure that all customer service standards are met or exceeded
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels for Front of House supplies such as menus, utensils, and condiments
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
Skills:
- Proven experience in hospitality management or restaurant management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Proficient in inventory control and ordering procedures
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and ability to collaborate with kitchen staff
