Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Manager. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining experience for our guests. This includes managing the front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth operation. Duties: - Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders - Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards - Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during business hours - Monitor and manage reservations to ensure efficient seating arrangements - Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations - Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms - Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as menus, napkins, condiments, etc., and place orders as needed - Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the overall dining experience Experience: - Previous experience in shift management or supervisory roles within the food service industry - Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food service management principles - Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and staff members - Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training front-of-house staff - Knowledge of food preparation techniques is preferred but not required If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, have experience in the restaurant industry, and possess strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply for the position of Front of House Manager.
