Klara Beauty Lab is an Upscale Medical Spa and skin care clinic located in Manahattan on the Upper East Side. KBL is led by Klara Chrzuszcz, a Master Medical Esthetician. For the last 11 years, Klara has been sought after by celebrities and the women of NYC and Poland for her unique approach involving whole health assessments for her patients. Her patients expect to receive excellent service and enjoy a truly luxurious pampering experience at her practice.
We are looking for a Front Desk Manager to not only handle the administrative duties of the practice, but to carry out an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated, hard working, passionate about the beauty/wellness industry, has exceptional customer service skills and prior spa or luxury customer service experience. This candidate will also be friendly and approachable, dependable, and adaptable - able to take direction and correction with grace. While primary focus will be on the business and clients within the Medical Spa, occasionally this candidate will assist Klara with personal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with a smile, offer a beverage, handle all patient intake forms and appointment reminders.
- Scheduling appointments both for in house guests and those calling in to the practice.
- Updating confidential client records pre and post treatment.
- Ensuring accurate records of payment, including cash and digital.
- Research all products and services at Klara Beauty Lab to be able to speak with patients about every single service.
- Upgrade to multiple session packages and memberships at the point of sale. Strong sales skills are required and expected.
- Report any concerns or areas of improvement to management.
- Manage electronic medical records and keep accurate and tidy notes.
- Assist Spa Manager with general spa marketing and public relations strategy. This is included by not limited to monthly specials, email marketing, and phone call recovery for patients who have not regularly returned to the practice.
- Assist with coordination of spa events for the purpose of sales generation and community awareness.
- Provides exemplary service and offers seamless experience to guests.
- Organize, clean and maintain all spa areas throughout shift.
- Keep accurate inventory of medical, operational, and retail items.
- Assist Klara with personal matters and errands within reason.
Important to note:
- There are certain seasons that are busier than others. Occassionally we will ask our staff to be flexible and work overtime during these times. Though we try our best to be respectful of days and weekends off, occassionally we will need to communicate during these times.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
