Front Desk Receptionist

The Front Desk/Receptionist is the first face the patients see, it is imperative to make a good impression. The position requires a background in front staff duties in a medical clinic. We are a busy medical office in Burleson who is seeking a highly motivated, reliable and flexible individual for a full-time Front Office/Receptionist position with experience in the medical field (but we will train the right individual).

Our ideal candidate is one who exhibits poise, professionalism, has excellent communication skills and a passion for providing superb customer service.

Job Requirements/Duties:

• Experience in a high pace environment
• Medical billing knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to type 40 wpm.
• Proficient computer experience required (i.e., MS Office suite of applications, practice management system, EMR).
• Answering phones (must be comfortable with a high call volume).
• Greeting & assisting clients with questions
• Faxing information, retrieving faxes & disseminating faxes
• Obtaining authorizations for procedures
• Obtain verification of benefits
• Checking status of authorization requests
• Opening and closing activities
• Assisting with other front office duties as required.
• Prior Authorization experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
