Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong clerical and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- File and maintain patient records in an organized manner
- Type correspondence, memos, and other documents as needed
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with office management tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office is preferred
- Strong clerical skills, including filing, typing, and data entry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
