SalaryLooking for a front office receptionist for busy seasonal hotel in Lake George Village to join our team. Position will include a set schedule with a mix of morning and evening shifts. Our office hours are between 8am and 10pm so the shifts will fall between those times. Position will be part time hours for training until Mid May when full time schedule starts
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAYS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data as well as collect payment for stay.
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival
- Provide information about our property, available rooms, rates and amenities as well as local area attractions.
- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Customer service attitude
- Must be comfortable using a computer as well as speaking on the phone and to customers in person.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance
- Be somewhat knowledgable about the local area
Candidate must live locally and have reliable transportation.
Previous hotel experience preferred but will train the right person. Pay is based on experience.
