Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist.
As a Front Desk Receptionist at Boulevard, you will be the welcoming face of our salon, providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients. Your role will involve managing salon appointments, greeting customers, handling inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily salon activities. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance the overall client experience.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide information to callers and visitors about the company, products, and services
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and retail displays
- Process client payments and reconcile transactions accurately
-Assist stylists and salon staff with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a salon or similar environment
- Proficiency with salon software systems for appointment scheduling and client management (e.g., Phorest, Booker, Salon Iris, Mindbody)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for the beauty industry and a genuine desire to create positive client experiences
