SalaryPay is at least $18/hour + Bonus, based on experience. Benefits include Medical insurance, Dental insurance, PTO , and 401K. Hours 9-5:30 Mon, Tues, Thurs, 10-6:30 Wed, 9-3 Fri.
Duties:
Answer phones and make appointments.
Greet patients in a friendly manner.
Verify insurances.
Understand medical copays and deductibles and be able to explain to patients.
Collect monies due.
Monitor incoming payments from insurance companies.
Make follow up and yearly appointments when patients check out.
Use a scanner and fax machine.
Check voicemails and return calls.
Monitor email.
Notify patients when their glasses and contact lenses come in.
Pre-scan patients using ophthalmic equipment.
Help wipe down machines with alcohol between patients.
Be a participating member of the team when and where needed.
