SalaryComprehensive foot and ankle centers is a fast growing multi physician practice located in south jersey. We are currently hiring a friendly, personable person for a Front Desk Receptionist position.
Front Desk Receptionist Essential Functions:
- Provides professional customer service by greeting patients and guests warmly and courteously, and direct or escort to intended destination
- Assists in pre and post appointment operations such as chart preparation and transmitting paperwork to appropriate parties
- Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
- Obtains, verifies and scans necessary clinical, demographic and insurance information, referrals, pre-certifications and testing results
- Reviews, updates and communicates physician schedule status (cancellations, no shows, reschedules and add-ons) ensuring that patients and providers are attended to at all times
- Participates in activities of stocking and restocking to ensure supplies are available to providers • Accurately documents patient accounts of all actions taken
- Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
- Interacts professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
- Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and management, and demonstrates teamwork when needed
- Maintains strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Medical terminology knowledge, and experience with nextgen healthfusion & EMR highly desired.
- Position may require travel between locations Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or GED, prior experience in a customer service oriented role/medical experience highly desired.
