Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist - Chiropractic Office
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome Patients: Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner as they arrive at the office.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling and ensure that patient appointments are accurately recorded and coordinated with chiropractic staff.
- Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally, providing information and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Assist patients with check-in procedures, collect necessary information, and verify insurance coverage. Process payments and issue receipts during patient check-out.
- Maintain Patient Records: Ensure that patient records are accurately updated and maintained in accordance with office policies and procedures.
- Office Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and ensure that office supplies are adequately stocked.
- Handle Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents as needed.
- Follow HIPAA Regulations: Adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines and maintain the security of patient information at all times.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors both in person and over the phone.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in scheduling appointments and handling patient information.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office setting is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right person!
- Fluent in Korean, preferred but not required.
