Front Desk Receptionist

Our growing dental practice has a need for an Front Desk / Receptionist that takes pride in providing quality patient care, while treating patients with the kindness and compassion they deserve.

• Answering a multi-line phone system
• Greeting/welcoming patients
• Confirming upcoming appointments
• Contacting insurance companies to verify coverage for new and existing patients
• Presenting/scheduling treatment plans
• Collecting co-payments
• Post insurance and personal payments daily
• Balance Day Sheet
• Complete Deposit
• Work denied claims and overdue claims
• Patient Statements
• Contact patients by phone or mail regarding outstanding balances
• Maintain an outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude with patients and team member at all times
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered environment in the work space
• Contribute to team culture
• Combine efficiency, productivity, and empathy for patients in all actions
• Demonstrate exceptional human relation skills
• Dress according to office policy
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive attitude
• Desire to learn and grow
• Demonstrate accuracy in spelling and basic math
• Speak, understand, and write grammatically correct English
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend is ideal
