As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients and staff.
Tasks
- Greet patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answer or properly refer questions and issues
- Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Notify providers of patient arrivals
- Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensure availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Verify financial records and collect patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
- Maintain office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
- Perform patient registry and general administrative duties
- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong computer skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English or in Portuguese and English
- Competitive salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
