Front Desk Manager

FivePine Lodge & Conference Center in Sisters, Oregon is seeking a full time FRONT DESK MANAGER. Experience an empowered working environment where you can grow and thrive with your team as you create memorable experiences for guests!

We are looking for someone who not only has the skills necessary to keep up with the demands of a AAA 4 Diamond property, but who is also in alignment with our philosophy and vision. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the PMS for reservations (leisure, group and package)
• Guest registration and front office administrative duties
• Maintain property knowledge
• Guest Services
• Maintain Concierge Knowledge: FivePine Campus, Sisters Oregon, Central Oregon
• Special requests & guest complaints
• Serving & connecting with guests at wine reception
• Facilitate effective inner-department and inter-department communication
• Make decisions in accordance with policy and company priorities
• Room inventory management
• New employee training and oversight
• Quality control and reservation monitoring
• Assist the management team in the prediction, prevention and resolution of all guest and administrative issues
• Schedule and supervise the daily activities and job performance of the Front Desk and night audit staff
• Take leadership and responsibility for departmental goals

• Other duties as assigned

Requested Education/Experience/Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail

• Ability to weigh competing objectives when making decisions and foresee the effects of decisions on each stakeholder involved
• Ability to self-direct and efficiently multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to project professionalism in person, over the phone, and in written communications
• 3-5 years hospitality/customer service experience
• 3-5 years reservations or Front Desk experience using a property management system
• 3-5 years supervisory or management experience
• Computer skills and familiarity with MS Office programs and Google docs
• College Degree or Certificate Preferred

Schedule :

Applicant must be available to work a varied and flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays in accordance with scheduling and business needs.

Compensation Package:

• Wage starts at $19 and up based on experience
