Job description

Our Physical Therapy Business Solutions Company is seeking a dynamic team player for a Virtual Front Desk (VFD) position working remotely from home. Our company works with Outpatient Physical Therapy clinics all over the country handling their front desk needs virtually. Front desk, and Insurance KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! MUST have an outgoing personality mixed with professionalism and organization.

The VFD is the first point of contact for patients and staff. The position is responsible for virtually greeting patients, checking patients in, digital intake and ID capture, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, completing administrative processing and reports,explanation of insurance benefits, collecting patient balances, and recordkeeping. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly, bright and inquisitive and an excellent communicator. The ability to support patients/staff, answer their questions, and lead them in directions to solve questions they may have, is essential.


****ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION****

The Front Desk Coordinator will be able to:

  • Answer questions regarding the practice
  • Virtually Meet and greet patients and potential patients
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service while multitasking.
  • Efficiently and accurately obtain verification of benefits and authorizations for multiple clinics
  • Have a well lit professional office setting
  • High Speed Internet
  • Have a quiet work environment

*****QUALIFICATIONS*****

  • Proficient computer and typing skills and software knowledge
  • Must have worked in a patient facing medical office environment for a minimum of 2 years
  • Must maintain a calm, professional demeanor in difficult situations
  • Must be a pro collaborator, facilitator, and communicator
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with formal training
  • Will embrace inbound and outbound calling.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Must be able to organize time
  • Requires the ability to multi-task and work in several EMR systems simultaneously
  • Must deal with patients in a caring and respectful, warm and empathetic manner.
  • Outpatient rehab office experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
