Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage a productive schedule.
- Oversee daily operations of the dental office schedule especially the front end (This is a supervisory/ managerial positions NOT ENTRY LEVEL)
- Employee relations.
- Achieve practice goals (Monthly / Quarterly / Annual).
- Must be comfortable discussing and explaining treatment plans as recommended by the doctor and to discuss financing options with patients
- Internal marketing to stimulate new patient growth, positive reviews and patient referrals.
- Manage all aspects of dental insurance including other insurance team members to review patient claims, AR and overlook the whole insurance department.
- Complete End of Day processes and make review day end checklists for team members.
- Promote Practice membership plan and educate patients on the benefits offered under it.
- Timely reporting on tasks and goals to the management team.
- Concierge level of professionalism with customer service that leads to exceptional, unparalleled patient care and experience
Education/Experience
Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in receptionist role (corporate setting or multi-practice setting preferred)/previous Front Desk Lead manager experience is highly preferred
- Dental insurance and billing experience required
- Overall extensive knowledge and understanding of dental-related systems, technical specifications and processes (previous experience as an assistant preferred)
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of relevant systems/technologies through self-directed learning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business preferred but not required
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Curve Hero is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Effective organization and prioritization skills
- Effective facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Effective management and leadership skills including the ability to lead and manager other team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
