Front Desk Dental Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to work in our office. This is a full-time position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checks in and checks out patients in a pleasant, professional manner.
• Verify and confirm patient’s appointment.
• Verify insurance and eligibility
• Verify and update patient demographic information as needed in the computer at each visit
• Create financial treatment plans and review with parent or guardian
• Collect co-pay and outstanding balance at time of service
• Book and reschedule patient appointments accordingly
• Maintains orderly, efficient and timely flow of patients in office
• Answer patient inquiries in a pleasing, professional manner
• Answer call, transferring call and taking messages as needed and deliver to appropriate staff
• Enter charges for procedures based on treatment
• Record information on the ledgers and deposits accurately and neatly
• Maintain strict confidentiality; and treat all staff, patients and visitors with respect
• Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of computer systems
• Perform other related work as required

Experience

• Preferred experience in a dental office environment
• Preferred experience with Eaglesoft software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
