We are looking for an additional part-time Front Desk coordinator to join our dynamic, high-energy team at To the Woods Salon! We are a women/LGBTQ-owned, eco-conscious small business welcoming of all people. The heart of our small business revolves around our team-driven attitude and passion for all things beauty. We are proud of the fun, positive, and supportive work environment that we’ve cultivated and we look forward to building upon it!
We are hiring with an expected start date of April 1, 2024. Our ideal candidate will work roughly 20 hours, 4 days a week (Tuesday–Saturday). Salon experience is not required, but customer service experience is a plus!
Some responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients as they enter and exit the salon.
- Checking in and checking out clients.
- Answering phone calls, texts, voicemails and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Scheduling and adjusting appointments.
- Processing cash and credit card transactions.
- Receiving shipments and adjusting inventory.
- Managing and organizing retail shelves.
- Keeping the salon clean and organized.
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of all salon operations and services.
- Manage ongoing salon marketing, promotions and programming activities.
