Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist

Salon Vivace Mt. Lebanon is looking for a Front Desk coordinator to join our team!

As a Front Desk coordinator in our salon, you will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing calls, scheduling clients over the phone and in person, as well as other important tasks to help keep the salon a welcoming atmosphere to clients.

The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, great customer service skills, a strong sense of organization, and the ability to work the desk alone. Experience in the beauty industry is not necessary, but a plus!

Job Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk coordinator, your role is to provide guests with excellent customer service.

• Greeting and checking-in guests when they arrive
• Answering the phone; fielding questions; booking and confirming client appointments
• Computer proficient and able to learn salon software program
• Assist clients schedule salon and spa appointments in person and over the phone
• Checking out guests and managing a small amount of paperwork
• Cash handling and opening/closing procedures
• Helping keep the salon and spa clean, stocked and inviting for clients and staff

Job Requirements:

• Great customer service skills (2+ years of customer service experience preferred)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and to complete assigned projects on your own
