Job Description
- Answer incoming calls and text messages in a cordial, professional and timely manner.
- Greet clients and visitors to the office with warmth and professionalism. Notify employees of visitor’s arrival when necessary.
- Provide high level services to staff, clients and guests.
- Managing client information, scheduling appointments, new client form input, daily updates, daily reports, and daily schedule management on Salonbiz and Google.
- Management of POS and checking out clients.
- Administrative and office responsibilities
- Light cleaning such as laundry, dusting shelves and organizing/unpacking retail products.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two-year receptionist, or administrative experience required preferably in a spa, salon or wellness environment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in retail and/or sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding listening skills and ability to empathize with others
- Appropriate sense of discretion on dealing with varied and difficult situations
- Self-motivated and the ability to multi-task
- Exceptional customer service skills to effectively greet and communicate with callers and visitors via phone, text, and email.
- Ability and willingness to learn in-depth knowledge of the company (the business and employees) to more efficiently handle correspondence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers and clients.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Salonbiz, some salon software or POS experience a plus!
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
