About us
Drop Fitness is a download-to-join luxury gym that offers customers four premium NYC-based boutique studios (Physique 57, Fhitting Room, Humming Puppy, and Mile High Run Club) under one roof, a private personal training floor, premium cardio and free weights, and amenities not found at other studios such as a kids club, café, and luxury locker rooms. Members can purchase any of our services à la carte or they can “subscribe and save” from the member app.
Drop Fitness offers its class subscribers access to all four studios, unlimited access to the open gym and luxury locker rooms, complementary kids club, and access to our world class café all at an unbeatable price, but the reason our customers will love us and come back to us is YOU. And so in addition to offering the best compensation packages, we are looking for hospitality enthusiasts who want to grow with us as we expand to more locations.
Role and Responsibilities
- THIS ROLE IS WEEKDAYS starting at 4:30am.
- Greet our members and guests as they arrive
- Answer phone calls from members and prospective members
- Educate members about our service offerings and help them select the packages and subscriptions that best fit their needs
- Build a working knowledge of how our app works and help members use our app
- Strong communication skills to provide best in class customer service
- Build rapport with current and prospective members to foster community and brand loyalty
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent the organization and its values in a positive way
- Provide support to Instructors and work as a team with all other staff
- Uphold company brand standards in terms of gym look and feel, member service, and company culture
Professional Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) of hospitality experience
- Love of fitness and wellness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic
- Interest in Marketing and Social Media Management
- Superior problem solving and multitasking abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a constructive, rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability is a must, i.e. weekends, nights, early mornings, holidays
