Front Desk Associate - On-Call

What do we need?

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join the resident resources team as an On-Call Overnight Front Desk Associate to fill in part-time when other staff are on PTO. Must work a minimum of 1 shift every 30 days to remain on-call. Overnights are typically from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Responsibilities for On-Call Overnight Front Desk Associate:

• Contribute to a warm and friendly environment by greeting and providing great hospitality to guests
• Process guest intake, voucher renewals, and audit report paperwork
• Respond to guests’ requests for information and necessities
• Answers telephone and relays messages to guests
• Understand and follow all Front Desk policies and procedures to provide excellent guest service
• Performs stocking and cleaning responsibilities as needed for shift

Pay and Benefits for On-Call Overnight Front Desk Associate:

• $20.80 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential for hours between 11:00 pm and 7:30 am

Requirements for On-Call Overnight Front Desk Associate:

• 1 year of Front Desk Associate experience
• 1 year of college experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Strong experience working as a part of a team
• Experience working with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
• Experience working with families or individuals experiencing homelessness preferred
• Knowledge of the Hennepin County shelter system preferred
