Job Description:
Our dental office is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team. The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing other administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients as they arrive at the office and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage as needed (our office outsources 95% of patient verifications)
- Process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Communicate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure a smooth flow of patients and appointments
- Assist with office administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
