We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check guests in and out, ensuring accurate information is collected
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and other requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Front Desk operations and hotel management systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Proficient in using computer systems, including reservation software and phone systems
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
