Front Desk Agent

The Residence Inn by Marriott in Middletown is seeking a customer oriented Front Desk Representative for our hotel located on Tower Drive in Middletown. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to the needs of our guests while providing outstanding guest service.

Essential Job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Responding to guest requests and inquiries
• Welcome guest upon arrival and check-in according to established standards and procedures
• Communicate hotel facilities and services to all guests
• Provide information on the local area and points of interest
• Assist guests with arrivals and departures.
• Answer the Front Desk phone, transfer calls
• Post all charges, update folios, balance credit cards, charges and cash
• Project a courteous and hospitable attitude at all times
• Be familiar with all room types, and rates in the hotel and upsell
• Stock and organize “The Market”
• Responsible for overall security, conduct security walks
• Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts & nightly audits

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer Service Experience
• Must be capable of accurately handling money.
• Reading, math, and communication skills.
• Full and/or Part time position available.
• Adhere to brand and company standards.
