Green Chiropractic is looking for an enthusiastic person to fill an entry level position to help with front desk duties, answering phones, patient care and office flow as well as Back Office duties that include administering therapies and showing exercises.
This individual will need to have a positive attitude, team-working skills, and self-motivated.
This position is part-time (34.5 hours per week)
Mon -Thurs: 8:30 am - 1 pm & 2 pm - 5 pm.
And Friday: 8:30 am - 1 pm.
No weekends or holidays required.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner.
- Answering multi line phone system.
- Data entry of patient information into computer system.
- Verifying patient’s insurance (on-site training).
- Collecting copay and deductible payments.
- Directly assisting the doctor by showing patients exercises and other “hands on” tasks.
- Sending and receiving doctor referrals and medical records.
- Maintaining appointment calendar and patient records.
- Work alongside other staff to maintain flow of patients during “high traffic” treatment times.
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the office.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clerical or front desk position.
- *Previous experience in health care office is not required but is a bonus.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Flexibility to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to demonstrate professional maturity.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to maintain office professionalism.
- Ability to regulate patient’s private healthcare records and maintain hipaa laws
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 per week
