The Lycée Francais de Chicago is currently looking for a French-speaking Substitute Teacher to teach math at both middle school and high school levels.They should instruct students in a rigorous educational program and share their enthusiasm with students. They challenge and inspire students to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.
Requirements:

Requirements:
- Experience as a teacher or a substitute teacher
- Availability at short notice is helpful (when possible assignments will be given in advance)
- Organized, proactive, and appreciative of cultural differences.
- Capacity to work with a team and to integrate a new class/level quickly
- Computer skills necessary
- Must be fluent in French
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Math, Education, or related field
Duties:
- Follow lesson plans prepared by teachers
- Update teachers on class progress
- Supervision during transitions and recess
- Preparation of work documents possible
- Additional information:
- There are no benefits associated with this part-time, punctual position.
