This internship is based in our Garden City, NY Office and will last 3-6 months
What You Will Do:
- Work alongside experienced industry professionals to learn the day-to-day functions of Freight Forwarding Logistics
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Branch Manager and other departments including data entry, ISF filings (customs compliance), open and closing files, etc.
- Contribute to the development of a best-in-class Customs Brokerage service product
- Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding customer service while leveraging opportunities to grow our business
- Learn how to drive results through identify, prioritizing, and resolving service challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Gain continuous knowledge of supply-chain based software systems including CargoWise
- Apply your curriculum knowledge and experiences across multiple areas of the transportation and logistics industry to make a real impact in our organization
Key Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Undergraduate or graduate students currently pursuing an associate, bachelor's, or master’s degree from a 2 or 4-year college or university preferably with an International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar Freight Forwarding major/minor
