Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and investigate news stories
- Interview sources and gather information
- Write and edit news articles, features, and reports
- Fact-check information and ensure accuracy of content
- Stay updated on current events and news trends
- Utilize social media platforms for news distribution and engagement
- Manage and maintain professional relationships with sources and contacts
- Take photographs or coordinate with photographers for visual content
- Collaborate with editors, reporters, and other journalists to develop story ideas

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and investigative abilities
- Proficient in fact-checking and verifying information
- Experience in social media management for news dissemination
- Knowledge of photography techniques and equipment (preferred)
- Copy editing skills to ensure accuracy and clarity of content
- Ability to write, edit, and proofread articles effectively
- Familiarity with copywriting techniques for engaging headlines and captions
- Bilingual proficiency (preferred) to reach a wider audience
