  • Conduct interviews with students and staff and write blog posts about exciting happenings on campus
  • Create a flexible daily schedule that allows for a variety of classes, events, and activities to be captured with quality photos around campus.
  • Provide daily content for and maintenance of the Program’s summer photo hub, uploaded each morning by 11:00 am.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other staff  and relevant summer office administrators and managers.
  • Communicating daily with EXPLO’s Photojournalist supervisor to receive guidance and feedback on quality and standard of work.
  • Be responsive to on-campus supervisors to ensure photos are representative of the student campus experience.
  • Produce an end-of-session slideshow once per session to be shared with students.
  • Design the daily Atlas (schedule and calendar of events) using Canva template.

Campus Operations + Student Life:
  • Receive and implement feedback from your EXPLO supervisor and other managers on campus to improve systems and processes;
  • Assist with workshops, electives, activities, trips, and other programmatic tasks;
  • Chaperone resident Summer Program students on evening and weekend trips; and
  • Perform additional Summer Program duties as may be assigned to you.

About You:
You’ve got:
  • Experience with capturing stories through photos, videos, and blog-style writing
  • Familiarity with photo and video equipment, and digital editing software
  • Availability to live and work on campus for the duration of the summer program

Ideally, you’ve also got:
  • 2+ years of post-high school experience by the summer
