We are hiring a Content Writer with a background in Journalism to spearhead our content strategy. The quality of our content will play a crucial role in building our credibility in the legal sector and boosting our ranking on search engines like Google.

Location: New York City

Responsibilities:

- Build out the company's content library with factual and compelling content focused on the legal domain and practice areas.

- Ensure exceptionally high-quality of written content that educates and informs the target audience.

- Produce long-form content pieces, ideally ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 words.

- Become an expert in the legal space by collaborating closely with practising attorneys, documenting insights and learnings.

- Own company communications on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube etc)

- Analyse competitor's content to inspire improvements in our own campaigns

- Maintain & own our editorial calendar

- Exhibit a detail-oriented and responsive work style to meet deadlines and content requirements effectively.

Experience/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field

- 3-5 years of professional writing/journalism experience, preferably in a B2B or legal/professional services context

- Excellent written communication skills in English and Spanish

- Passion, expertise and experience with social media marketing

- Proven track record of producing high-quality, well-researched, and factual long-form content (writing samples required)

- Extensive knowledge of content creation, storytelling, and writing compelling long-form content

- Familiarity with legal terminology, concepts, and the nuances of the legal industry

- Interest in innovative technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends

- Self-motivated, driven, and able to take initiative

- Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with subject matter experts
