Who we are looking for:

Forge Health is seeking a high caliber finance analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to exert influence on key stakeholders throughout the organization, including the executive team. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving sound strategic and operational decisions within our fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a finance professional with a proven track record of achieving results, demonstrating a strong drive to get things done. The ideal candidate is adept at expertly juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously, paying meticulous attention to details, and employing creative problem-solving to address overarching challenges on a larger scale.

In addition to the core responsibilities outlined below, the successful candidate will actively engage in cross-functional collaboration and undertake tasks beyond their primary role to contribute to the overall success of the finance team. This may involve providing support on ad-hoc projects, collaborating with colleagues in related departments, and participating in initiatives that foster a collaborative and high-performing finance environment.

This position reports into the Vice President of Finance and is a remote opportunity for those residing on the East Coast.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and manage budgets and forecasts working directly with people leaders across all departments, including clinical teams, throughout Forge Health.
  • Substantially contribute to the development of long-term organization strategies, thinking strategically and aligning financial planning with overall business objectives.
  • Financial modeling to support scenario analysis, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform thorough variance analysis to understand the reasons behind financial performance variations and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Design and produce regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating proficient knowledge of financial reporting standards and requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Help establish and maintain metrics, key performance indicators, and monitoring systems that maintain accountability and manage risks.

What you'll need:

  • Must have at least 5+ years of work experience in a finance role
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Experience working in a high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Willing to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to create accurate financial projections
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights for decision-making
  • Experience selecting and implementing new systems is a plus
