Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a financial management specialist for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• 10 years' relevant experience of which 3 years must be in the DoD; or 15 years' relevant experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, of which 5 must be in the DoD.
• Current Secret clearance

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 

• DEAMS, CCAR, ABSS, CRIS, WAWF, EDA, BQ, FM SUITE, and IDECS experience preferred
• Foreign Military Sales experience preferred

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in preparing budgets for new requirements,
• Prepare new Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) records,
• Prepare/process line of accounting requests (release only), Defense Enterprise Accounting & Management System (DEAMs) Project, Task, Expenditure Type, and Organization (PTEO) requests, Target Load Sheets (release only),
• Monitor obligation and expenditures of FC 4A ADMIN, FC 4F Direct Budget Authority and Fund Code 4E (BA & FC) 4E, and reimbursable Repair & Return budget activities.
• Attend meetings in support of line managers for prioritization of workloads.
• Assist in researching, compiling and completing FMS FM suspense’s to include Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DAR-Q), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) posting errors, DEAMS recon issues, balancing & forecasting in CCARS.
