The Producer Development Manager is responsible for coaching developing and supporting M’s new Financial Professionals (FP). By helping them build their business and marketing plans to execute in their local markets, create trusting client relationships with emerging wealth and HNW clients, implement digital and in-person prospecting methods, and understand how to initiate and discuss complex insurance concepts and solutions.

This role is also responsible for managing Financial Professional engagement with program curriculum, coordinating program content with internal and external resources, and reporting Program results to all stakeholders.

Strong leadership and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to resolve issues with a sense of urgency, prioritize responsibilities, follow through with tasks while managing other obligations and deadlines, and leverage data and analytics to support the sales operations of the Magnet Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES         

  • Magnet Financial Professional Coaching and Development:
    • Develop, coach, and support Magnet FPs at Member Firms throughout the United States through a high-performance sales development program (primarily through virtual, on-screen interactions).
    • Ensure product sales through the development and coaching of Magnet FPs’ sales skills, territory management, COI development, and business plan execution.
    • Partner with Member Firm mentors to build sales targets, business development plans, and marketing plans for new FP hires.
    • Work closely with investor-carriers to leverage resources and products for Magnet FP development and client solutions.
    • Collaborate and partner with Program Director and Practice Consulting to identify opportunities to enhance team’s knowledge of M Financial’s portfolio and position in the competitive landscape.
    • Drive use of CRM for sales tracking metrics in performance management of new FPs.
    • Develop and deliver sales enablement content for financial professionals, including scripts and scenario training as needed.
  • Magnet Program Operations
    • Partner with Program Director to build a high-performance sales culture and sales training program.
    • Strategize and facilitate detailed tactics to drive deeper engagement between partner carriers and Magnet FPs.
    • Collaborate directly with investor-carriers on program strategy, content development, and delivery.
    • Work closely with M’s Strategic Relationship team to leverage Magnet FP talent within Institutional initiatives/relationships.
    • Drive participation and engagement of FPs with Magnet curriculum and program content. Partner with Member Firms to create shared accountability.
    • Manage submission of FP sales and activity data for program reporting purposes. Partner with internal resources to create and distribute program reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS           

  • Ability to lead and influence people as well as interact effectively throughout the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. CFP®, CLU®, and/or ChFC® designation (or working towards completion) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience within insurance industry in point-of-sale environment.
  • Proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with Excel (data filter/sort, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Licenses required – State Life & Health; FINRA Series 6/7, 63

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Base Salary Range: $85,550 - $122,300
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
You will also be eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.

JOB CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT 

  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC’s, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
  • Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
  • Minimal Travel (10-15%)
