Football Operations Coordinator, Seasonal (Fall 2023)

Who We Are:
Job Title:Football Operations Coordinator, Seasonal (July - December 2023)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Athletics
Position Summary: Position will assist in Football Operations duties and assist Video Coordinator with filming football practices/games for the football program.
Position Responsibilities

• Manages in season operations of Varsity and Post-Grad teams (acts as main point of contact for team travel and game day logistics) - supports National team as needed.
• Helps to edit film of football team practices and games as well as opponent game film for the purpose of scouting and game planning
• Works with other departments on campus to ensure team training and operational needs are met for the program.
• Produces team rosters and assists with recruiting packets for football program
• Manages office supplies for football department
• Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with Academy, State, and NCAA guidelines
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
• Manage program platforms (CoachNow & Teamsnap)

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with video camera operations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate evening and weekend games both at home and on the road
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced organization

• A superior work ethic
• Ability to take direction

• Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
• Ability to hold, carry and set up video and taping equipment
• Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Ability to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
