Summary
Do you love the feeling of helping others and enjoy being around children? Then you might be a great fit to play a key role in helping children get off to a great start! The Boys Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire seeks a new team member to be responsible for the overall daily implementation of the USDA-sponsored CACFP at-risk lunch program, as well as supervision of our Suncook kitchen. This is a year-round position and requires between 25-28 hours per week. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate skills in the areas of supervision, program management, and communication. They must be able to relate effectively to members and the public in general.
Duties
Responsibilities include:
-Menu planning
-Record keeping
-Purchasing of food supplies and paper products
-Budget management
-Set up and clean up and administration of snacks and meals
-Assisting with the implementation of the Healthy Habits program
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements
-Must be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
-Foodservice education is a plus. Foodservice Certification is required (will train the right person).
-Prior food service, menu planning, and youth work experience are a plus. Prior experience with CACFP is a plus.
-Must be able to demonstrate skills in the areas of supervision, program management, and communication.
-Must be able to relate effectively to children and the public in general.
-Must submit health forms, and must submit to an FBI fingerprint background check and submit to a background check through the State of NH Criminal Records Dept. and First Advantage.
-Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications (can be obtained)
-Valid driver's license
