Ford of Kirkland, the #1 Ford dealership in the Pacific Northwest, is actively seeking out a Fleet Manager to join our team. Working as a Fleet Manager, you would be responsible for selling fleet vehicles to various companies and organizations. The ideal candidate would have prior dealership fleet management experience with a strong understanding of the operations that come with managing a fleet.
Fleet Manager Job Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients.
- Understand the specific needs and requirements of each client to offer tailored solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for commercial customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
Sales and Marketing:
- Identify potential commercial customers and generate leads.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract commercial clients.
- Present and promote new vehicles, features, and services to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and financing options to secure vehicle sales.
Vehicle Selection and Procurement:
- Assist commercial clients in selecting the right vehicles for their needs.
- Coordinate with the dealership's inventory and ordering departments to ensure the availability of desired vehicles.
- Arrange vehicle test drives and demonstrations.
Financing and Leasing:
- Explain financing and leasing options to commercial clients.
- Assist clients in securing financing or leasing arrangements for their vehicle purchases.
- Work with financial institutions and leasing companies to facilitate transactions.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all commercial vehicle transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial vehicle sales and leasing.
Customization and Upfitting:
- Coordinate with the dealership's customization and upfitting departments to meet the specific needs of commercial clients.

Fleet Manager Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Fleet Management (Commercial Car Sales) experience with a good track record.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
