- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions for efficient fleet tracking and management.
- Develop an annual business plan including key goals and initiatives that drive results supporting overall company performance objectives and strategies.
- Conduct regular Fleet-Operations meetings to maintain positive communications with primary clients, review key performance indicators, and ensure support for operations.
- Collaborate with Operations to identify upcoming needs and support for day to day operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a senior leadership role within fleet management.
- Strong understanding of fleet operations, maintenance, and compliance.
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with fleet management software and technology.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Union experience preferred.
